The Korg CM-300 is a clip-type contact microphone designed for use with tuners, enabling the utmost tuning accuracy. The microphone directly captures the sound of your instrument, using a piezo element to transmit the vibrations directly to your tuner. This is particularly beneficial in environments with high ambient sound, such as a large ensemble, as it allows for high-precision tuning.

Compared to the previous model, the CM-300 has been redesigned for increased durability. The shape of the cable's strain relief at the point of connection has been modified, and the sound transmission performance has been further improved. The cable itself is even more durable and resistant to stress, with a softer sheath that can now curve more flexibly. At the junction where the cable joins the clip, the strain-relief slits have been redesigned to reduce stress on the wire, making the connection more durable and long-lasting.

The clip section of the CM-300 allows for stable attachment to a variety of instruments. The clip can open to a maximum width of 30 mm, and the rubber inside is shaped in a way that enables attachment to any type of instrument, including the bell of a brass instrument, the bridge of a violin, or the head of a guitar or ukulele. The microphone can be attached lightly but firmly to these various instruments.
